Damien has studied under, and worked with, leading Chinese medicine practitioners including Xianqin Qu PhD, MD, Associate Professor, School of Medical & Molecular Biosciences, Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Faculty of Science (UTS). Damien also trained in China, gaining a certificate in Chinese medicine from one of Beijing’s leading hospitals. Damien has a particular interest in neurological issues and holds a weekly affordable acupuncture clinic in Bondi Beach for those who cannot afford regular care with acupuncture. Damien is also involved in mentoring students of acupuncture and has held an academic position at the School of Medical & Molecular Biosciences, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Faculty of Science (UTS) in the Chinese medicine degree.

Damien Bodnarchuk B.Hlth Sc TCM (UTS) is an Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) registered practitioner (registration number CMR0001715094) under the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA) and is certified accredited for the practice of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine under the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA), Australia’s leading professional body for Chinese medicine. Damien is also professionally qualified in a range of complementary and alternative medicine modalities including a Diploma of Yoga and Natural Health, with training in counselling, relaxation techniques, meditation, breathing techniques and group facilitation. He is also a qualified Laughter Club facilitator.

Damien has membership with the Association of Community and Multi-bed Acupuncture Clinics (ACMAC), a world representative association for community acupuncture. He also holds a position on the AACMA NSW Committee.

Damien was the founder and past president of the ongoing UTS Chinese Medicine Society.
